I’m Spencer Grimm, a brewer, data scientist, and software engineer based in Brooklyn, NY. Before becoming a brewer, I established a software/analytics foundation by performing genetics research and developing science education video games.
I began my brewing career in the lab at Creature Comforts Brewing Co, before joining my family to build out Grimm Artisanal Ales in Brooklyn. After three years as Lab, Cellar, and Yeast Director, I began a focus on data analysis and production software with Grimm Analytics.
Three years later, I now proudly support many celebrated breweries, including Wild East Brewing, Fifth Hammer Brewing, TALEA Beer, and Five Boroughs Brewing. Bringing data science to breweries of all sizes is my passion.
